Post: ActiveUBI completes first year in Pakistan

Kuala Lumpur – March 2020 marked completion of our first User Based Insurance (UBI) project consultancy in Pakistan where to-date over 3,000 vehicles are actively tracked and monitored for stolen vehicle recovery (SVR), driver behaviour (DB) and security. ActiveUBI monitors KPIs critical to performance of the insurance portfolio, which at most times are challenging due to many external factors. As a result in first 12 months assets worth over US$ 1.0 million have been saved due to efficiencies of the system no doubt contributing directly to the bottom line. Next features would include evaluation of accidents and launching First Notification of Loss (FNOL) amongst other features.

We are now preparing to launch second project in Malaysia in Q4 2020. Feasibility to extend to Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines and Vietnam is also under consideration. New products will see addition of Pay as your Drive, FNOL cameras, BLE for driver identification and intuitive alert management allowing appropriate decision making for the actuarial and product management teams in the insurance industry.
